As a landscape photographer with a deep appreciation for natural beauty, our recent family stay at La Caquerelle was a nice experience amid stunning surroundings. Although we were merely passing through Basle, we found the hotel to be a welcoming haven for families. The open spaces allowed our little one, aged just three, to explore safely while we admired the amazing views of the surrounding landscape. I particularly enjoyed capturing these moments on camera, though the clarity of our surroundings was just as nice. Although language barriers presented a challenge—our French was limited, and the staff spoke little English—they were patient and resourceful, making our stay feel more like a reunion than a vacation. La Caquerelle offers an array of family-friendly amenities that cater to all ages, including a play area where children can enjoy themselves. The cleanliness of the hotel was impressive and added to our overall comfort. We look forward to returning one day. Merci Beaucoup!
